WebEnsure the PC is off. Disconnect all external cables including the power cable. Hold down the power button, so the inner circuits are closed and any remaining power ( flea power) may dissipate. Hold the power button down for 5 seconds. Now reconnect the power cable and start the PC. Is the PC shutting down or overheating when left in the BIOS? WebMar 5, 2024 · Cyberpower OR700LCDRM1U won't stay on. Just seen that a rack mount, battery backup, is off and won't stay on. I press the power button, it turns on for about 2 minutes and cycles but then shuts down. There are no codes on the lcd screen. I tried resetting it by pushing the reset button on the back but that didn't do anything.

Fast forward to today and it worked fine all day while playing Path of Exile until a few hours ago it did the same thing and shut off.

The UPS will detect a problem with the battery and, to protect the UPS and the connected equipment, will shut down. Unless the other "cells" are new, you should replace them all. Also, only the fan in the back should be exhaust and the fans at the front should be set as intake.
