WebYes, this is true. The reason is that, in the tileset, all textures within one autotiling-group are counted as one "tile". And each tile can only have one texture. I personally think that the 2x2 bitmask does not work well. This is because the 2x2 bitmask is corner-based. In my way of thinking, however, a gridmap should be cell (-center) based. WebIt needs to manage multiple tile sets, including the weirdness that is autotiling, since it has to cut those tiles up smaller than the normal tiles. Also, layers would be nice. I'd rather have something clean and easy to use that's missing a few bells and whistles over something comprehensive that's buggy or difficult to figure out.
